Our Network

We are the North of England Critical Care Network (NoECCN) for adults and comprise of two localities: North East and Cumbria Locality and Tees Valley and South Durham Locality. Our Network maps almost exactly to the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Integrated Care System (ICS).

The Network acts as a conduit between commissioners and providers. We focus on coordinating patient pathways between providers within the NENC area to ensure:

·   Equitable access to specialist resources and expertise

·   Improving outcomes and quality standards

·   Evidence based networked patient pathways are agreed

The North of England Critical Care Network is committed to improving the quality of care for patients accessing critical care services. Members of the Network work collaboratively towards achieving a common purpose; building mechanisms to spread successful change from a framework of shared knowledge, learning and accountability.
